Program Overview

The professional PhD degree program in Electronic Information includes seven research areas and this program aims to motivate students’ creativity and engineering practice ability. We have the faculty team consists of academicians, national level talents, and industrial specialists in order to cultivate the high-level talents as well as industrial professionals. We also have several research platforms and closely cooperate with industries to provide our students with competitive conditions. This major include two research interests: graph and image intelligent processing, data engineering and intelligent network.

2008年获得新加坡南洋理工大学计算机工程博士学位，目前担任深圳大学大数据系统计算技术国家工程实验室副主任、计算机与软件学院人工智能系系主任。主要从事演化计算、机器学习、生物信息学等领域的研究工作。担任中国数字音视频编解码技术标准工作组(AVS)基因压缩专题组组长，IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, Emergent Technologies Task Force on Memetic Computing主席，期刊IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation和IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence副主编。已主持国家重点研发计划课题2项、国家自然科学基金项目4项，发表学术论文180多篇，SCI他引4000多次。

Zexuan ZHU is a Professor with the College of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Shenzhen University, China. He received his B.Sc degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Fudan University, China, in 2003 and the Ph.D degree from the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2008. His research interests include computational intelligence, machine learning, and bioinformatics. He was an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation and IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence, and serves as the Editorial Board Member of Memetic Computing Journal. He is also the Chair of the IEEE CIS Emergent Technologies Task Force on Memetic Computing.

深圳大学计算机与软件学院的副教授，国家高性能中心深圳分中心成员、电气电子工程师学会(IEEE)成员、中国计算机学会(CCF)成员，美国人工智能协会( AAAI)终身会员，深圳市海外高层次人才。2010年获香港科技大学计算机科学与工程系博士学位。张滇有丰富的海外教学和科研经历，她的研究兴趣包括数据分析和移动计算。近年来，她的研究成果发表在国际知名会议和期刊上40余篇，包括SIG KDD, IEEE TMC, TPDS, INFOCOM, ICDCS,PERCOM, WCM 等。此外，张滇主持了多个研究项目，包括国家自然科学基金面上项目和青年项目，广东省自然科学基金，深圳基础研究项目，孔雀项目等。张滇获得过多项奖励包括中国教育部自然科学二等奖（第2完成人），2013 IBM Faculty Award, 2015 Shenzhen Peacock Talent Award 及2019 中国太平洋保险公司(深圳)研究成就奖。

Prof. Zhang is an Associate Professor at the College of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Shenzhen University. She is also an adjunct associate professor at Department of Computing and Decision Sciences, Lingnan University, Hong Kong. She received her PhD in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Lionel M. Ni. Her research interests span over big data analytics, mobile computing, Internet of Things. Her research works have been published in many international well-known journals and conferences, including IEEE transaction on Mobile Computing (TMC), IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems (TPDS), IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE ICDCS, IEEE PERCOM, IEEE Big Data. Her work has been widely cited by prestigious institutes such as Stanford University, McGill University, Tsinghua University. She is the PI of many research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shenzhen Peacock projects. She is the recipient of 2018 Ministry of Education of China 2nd Class Academic Research Outstanding Award in Nature Science (中国教育部自然科学二等奖), 2013 IBM Faculty Award, 2015 Shenzhen Peacock Talent Award and 2019 China Pacific Insurance Research Achievement Award.
